Acrylic Painting Classes
Beginning Tuesday March 4, 2025, 4:00 pm--6:00 pm
Meeting Each Tuesday Senior Center, 301 N 4th in Manhattan KS, Leavenworth Room
Supplies provided by Stella Walker: Easel, paints, brushes, water basins. Supplies you provide: YOUR CANVAS, PAPER TOWELS AND Q-TIPS. You can also provide your own brushes if you choose, entirely up to you. We will start with 11 X 14 Canvas.
Stella Walker began painting in 1975, and has owned two studios, one in Oakley, Ks and more recently, Dalhart, Tx from 2013 to 2023.
Our classes not only sharpen your artistic skills, but also transform how you see the world by revealing subtle details in nature. Discover the joy of painting as a peaceful and rewarding way to connect with your surroundings. Since 1975, we have taught hundreds of individuals the art of painting and calligraphy.

Painting Classes - Up to 4 People
Looking for a personalized and creative experience? Join me for private
painting classes at my studio or in the comfort of your own home! I
offer two-hour sessions for one to two individuals by appointment.
Whether you're new to painting or looking to enhance your skills, this
tailored experience is perfect for you. Classes are $40 per person, and

I can also accommodate up to 4 students in these private sessions—let's
create something beautiful together!
Group Classes, Parties, and Team-Building Events - Up to 12 People
Looking for a fun and creative way to bring people together? Host a
group painting class, perfect for parties, team-building events, or
family gatherings! I offer 2 to 2.5-hour sessions for groups at $35 per
person. The organizer secures the location, ensuring it has tables,
chairs, access to water, and a restroom. Whether in your home or another
venue, this is a great way to bond while learning new painting
techniques.

Calligraphy
At Art with Stella, we offer specialized calligraphy classes in
beautiful styles like Bookhand, Chancery cursive, and black letter
writing. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our
classes provide the perfect opportunity to explore the timeless art of
calligraphy. Supplies needed include tracing paper, a C-0 nib, and a pen
holder. While I have a few nibs and pen holders available, please bring
your own tracing paper.
