Acrylic Painting Classes

Beginning Tuesday March 4, 2025, 4:00 pm--6:00 pm

 

Meeting Each Tuesday Senior Center, 301 N 4th in Manhattan KS, Leavenworth Room

Supplies provided by Stella Walker: Easel, paints, brushes, water basins. Supplies you provide: YOUR CANVAS, PAPER TOWELS AND Q-TIPS. You can also provide your own brushes if you choose, entirely up to you. We will start with 11 X 14 Canvas.'

Stella Walker began painting in 1975, and has owned two studios, one in Oakley, Ks and more recently, Dalhart, Tx from 2013 to 2023.

Our classes not only sharpen your artistic skills, but also transform how you see the world by revealing subtle details in nature. Discover the joy of painting as a peaceful and rewarding way to connect with your surroundings. Since 1975, we have taught hundreds of individuals the art of painting and calligraphy.

Private Painting Class in Dalhart TX

On September 20, 2024, a private school hosted a painting experience with me in Dalhart, TX. This exclusive event included three sessions for students, homeschoolers, and some teachers. Participants were divided into groups where they created a horse portrait in one group, a striking lion head in another, and a unique pour painting in the third group—no two pour paintings were alike!

The students were enthusiastic and eager to dive into their creative projects. It was a joy to see their artistic talents shine, and they had so much fun experimenting with different techniques. Each session was filled with laughter, creativity, and excitement, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
